Walter’s cd release of Worthy is The Lamb is his first ministry project and has been a dream. It is a showcase of Walter’s smooth Jazz style with God’s Anointing. It presents a good balance of walter’s song writing skills and musicianship. It shows his versatility in style. Special guest on this album include, Paul Whitley of Pablo Productions on keyboards and strings, Matthew Kelly of Groove Oven Productions(co producer), Monica Akirele(vocalists), Mo Stegall(rapper), Tamisha Jones, Gene Hoskins, Myranda Dorsey(vocalists), Willie Walker(bassist), Rashon Carthen(drums), My NCCU connections: Harvey Cummings(pianist), Cameron Morgan (pianist), Justin Martin (Guitarist), Lance Scott (bassist) and Orlandis Perry (drums). This project is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Walt Jai’s skills on soprano and alto saxophones.
The Title track on this project is #7, Worthy is the Lamb. He chooses this title because no matter what obstacles are in my way, God is always worthy of all praises and glory. No matter how bad you think you have sinned, God still forgives and deserves all praises. |
